Crisis start time?
Same time as 1.9 would roughly be 2350 right? My problem is the description says afe and endgame crisis...

Fallen empires seem to awaken around 2400 with endgame set to 2400. I think end crisis starts rolling for the crisis around 2450 iirc, so 50 years later.

the start date before was 2400 for the end game crisis. It didnt have to happen then but that was the first time it COULD happen.

You can change mid game and end game start dates, and also crisis strength, so set to whatever you want.

Fallen empires in 1.9 use to awaken before 2400.

Fallen empires awakening is not the end game crisis. Never was before and isnt now.

Have you not read the description of the slider?

You can now adjust mid-game and late game times. So if you don't want a crisis to happen until 2600 you can do it.

Obviously you can change when crises start that wasn't the issue. I simply asked if anyone knows approximately the same start time would be in 2.0 compared to 1.0. Mid-game times only affect the horde and machine uprising while the late game ones consist of fallen empires awakening and the scourge etc. So far i've done 2300, 2350, and 2400 for the end game crisis. 2350 so far feels the closest to the 1.9 version of the game. Just wanted some input from other people which year has felt the most like 1.9 to them.

In the old versions, there was a small chance at 100 years in, a decent chance at 150 years in or failing that they'd most certainly show up sometime after 200 years.

I always got the contingency in 1.9 around 2400 and fallen empires awakening 2350. Never noticed that much of a variance.

Edit: In my current 2.0 playthrough i'm trying 2400 and so far only one fallen empire awakened and no end game crisis and the year is about 2430.

I set late game to 2500, AI empires are teched up, 3 out of 4 fallen empires awakened, 3 machine rebellions going on, and I got Prethoryns. Finding it a good balance, recommend pushing back late game by 100 years.

Honestly nope, I never read it when they added it. They have changed it then. End game crisis could only occur after 2400 prior to 2.0.

The tooltip now even says "End Game start year. Thsi controls which is the earliest year that end game events such as end game crisis AND Fallen empires awakening can occur."

They are not calling fallen empires awakeing the end game crisis, they are saying it is an end game event.

You asked when the end game crisis could occur in 1.9. I gave you the correct answer.

The slider is not for the end game crisis specifically but when you want what the game considers end game for multiple events.

This is very helpful and it does seem to match what i've tried so far. Thank you.
