i have unlocked the trait for colossus but there is no way for build lol

First you need to do the research (in your mission log) like you would for ascendancy.
Then you need a Citadel with a Colossus construction yard to make it.

Edit: You get to choose the primary weapon around 50% of the way through the research but you can attain all the other variations afterwards, via normal research.
