1) Fix your grammer.
2) You can find a special leviathan called "Void Clouds", which give a research quest when defeated that can give you a decent weapon research option.

quite a old discussion
1) the grammer was fine, it was the spelling wrong, 2 differant things.
2) i know void clouds are in there. the question was for why this system which is suppose to be generated only when you have the distant stars DLC, according to both the wiki and distant stars patch notes, showing up when i do not have the dlc

if you are going to correct someone make sure you know the correct information yourself

Great wound isn't Distant Stars DLC, it's straight 2.1, as well as several additions to current events, trinary and binary star systems, quick discovery resources, and other special systems like Great Wound, such as the crystal hatchery (forget it's name). You can also tame space creatures.

Distant stars DLC, contains the L gates, and L gate leviathans and events, as well as a whole suite of additional exploration events only avialable in distant stars. That's why it's called "distant" stars.
