Where are the leviathans?

Is anyone else having trouble finding them? In my last 3 games since update, I've only found one. My theory is that since they no longer spawn at the chohe points, selecting low lane density pretty much removes them from the game. I play at x1 density btw.

I've got in my current game the dreadnaught the dragon the SPOILER the dimensional horror and the SPOILER.
*1 density huge galaxy. Lots of empires.

My theory is the galaxy generation places empires first and things like levithains last which means you can run out of room before they get placed.

The map size can generally determine how many guardians you spawn in. For huge galaxies it seems the limit is 3-4. I imagine it might be less for smaller.

I think I have about 6-7 in my huge galaxy. I found that they're harder to spot than normal, I think due to the fog of war and how exploration works. Once I scouted around specifically with my ship, I found them.

Off top my head, there's the drake, dreadnaught (in my fleet now), dimensional horror, infinity sphere, and... I think 4 that are new to distant stars? Maybe. Won't say what they are for spoilers.

So I'm on a huge map with 30 empires and apparantly 5 Fallen Empires.

Regarding Leviathans, I know for certain The Enigmatic Fortress, Gargantua, Automated Dreadnought all spawned. I think the Ether Drake spawned too, but I haven't been able to get to the system yet to check. No Wraiths, No Horror, No Devourer unless an AI beat them early on (Doubtful as they've only just broke the 20K fleet size] and none of the new ones.

So yeah, I think only a portion of them are suppost to spawn with a chance to get them all.


Funnily enough haven't found a single Fallen Empire and I so wanted to pick a fight with one in this game.

Yeah, pretty sure fallen empire spawns are bugged at the moment. I had one spawn on a map with (28 maybe?) ai, the caretakers (robot one). Probably will get patched somewhat soon.

Nebula seem to actually work to block sensors now as well, which means that if one spawns inside a Nebula you no longer see it 5 jumps out.

This is not the case for me, my robot playthrough i have fortress and DH spawned next to each other on a major chokepoint.

As an aside its east to spot them in AI empires just look for the odd weird 1 system they dont colonize its usually got something nasty in it

Fortress, Gargantua, Automated Dreadnought and Drake are so often spawning.. I`m having hard times to see Scrapper Bot tho.. Tryin different configs, no luck still, too bad I cannot observe right from the start -its there or not.. cuz of lookin for achiv

Also AIs not beating Levs at all. Never saw they doin that.
