Starbase bonuses

Hi guys, so here's my question for those of you more enlightened than me in stellaris game. The bonus you get buy building extra modules for the starbase do apply also to the additional defense stations you can build? ( For example a command center +10% fire rate will also improve the fire rate of extra defense stations?) thanks in advance for your replies

Yup! The defense stations and the actual outpost stack to get the total military power you see in game.

No dude you don't get my question, i am aware that the power of defense station counts towards the total military power. My question is, when you add modules to your starbase that enhance its power, as the command center that augments the fire rate, this bonus applies also to the additional defense? do the defense stations benefit from the increased fire rate as well?

it should, it makes your starbase have an aura that gives +10% fire rate so anything nearby should benefit. defense platforms are seperate from the starbase itself but are part of the defenses in total

i think the bonus of the *buildings* (like that uplink computer thingy) also affects the defense platforms, but the % bonus of the *modules* (missile / gun battery, hangar bay) only affects the starbase itself. not really sure though. i guess the tooltips in the game should actually show the % bonus if it also affects the gun platforms.

Yes it does, you can mouse over the platforms,ships and stations for a full list of the buffs they get
