Divine empire

I heard when I got my psychic abilities in the game and then got my ruler to be immortal through the shroud that I could create a divine empire. I don't see an option to do this and was wondering if I have made a mistake, I started out as imperial with 1st tier spiritualist/military/xenophobe.

you need to be imperial with spiritualist/fanatic and authoritarian/fanatic and the impirial cult civic

Ty I didnt click on the expand when I looked there, I see I don't have authority or pacifist for the other type :(

AFAIK, if you play as fanatic spiritualist and get the Chosen One, you'll get a yes/no "dilemma" pop up asking you if you want to recognise the Chosen as a god. Picking "yes" makes all the necessary civics etc shifts to turn you into a Divine Empire.

You don't have to have specfic ethics for this to happen; As long as you are full psionic, you can get this event.
