Alternatively, you could try habitats. It's easier to get research wise (only need Star Forts) and has no other requirements on the ascension perk tree. (It's just that 10k minerals is a HUGE resource sink, but after your 3rd or 4th one it's not so bad anymore.)
it was indeed my question ^^ i know the other method to increase the weight of climate restoration but according the wiki, its increase the weight by X3. its too much for being ignored. so what the point here ?

So, @ Raziel, I've found the same lines in the 00_soc_tech.txt and 00_ascension_perks.txt files of the game 2.0.2
This is obviously a bug/easy mistake by the developer.
