Climate restoration is a late mid to late game tech that you need to unlock World Shaper. If you want to increase it's weight in research, hire a "New Worlds" scientist (the one with the flag). Otherwise you won't be getting it until at least 2300

Alternatively, you could try habitats. It's easier to get research wise (only need Star Forts) and has no other requirements on the ascension perk tree. (It's just that 10k minerals is a HUGE resource sink, but after your 3rd or 4th one it's not so bad anymore.)

I think hes asking why getting world shaper weights your research toward getting climate restoration when you already need climate restoration to get world shaper to start with

it was indeed my question ^^ i know the other method to increase the weight of climate restoration but according the wiki, its increase the weight by X3. its too much for being ignored. so what the point here ?

As far as I can see from the wiki World Shaper has 2 effects: it unlocks Gaia worlds and decreases terraforming costs by 25%. It does have Climate Restoration as a prerequisite but I don't see where you're seeing it saying it increases the chance of getting climate restoration.

You mean for Climate Transformation? You're looking at a page from version 1.5. These are not up to date.

But it's still in the game!!!!!
If you've got NOTHING of value to say, just try shutting the f*** up for once.

So, @ Raziel, I've found the same lines in the 00_soc_tech.txt and 00_ascension_perks.txt files of the game 2.0.2

This is obviously a bug/easy mistake by the developer.
