Fleet Management. Not Recognizing ships.
So have this with many of my fleets. I can't reinforce without going over my capacity and I can't upgrade my design any futher, or the ships in the fleet. Everything is fully upgraded.

this 10/0 even though there are 10 corvettes there... other fleets show similar, either with corvettes, or destroyers or my cruisers

I have the same problem. Sometimes remaking the fleet formation helps.

It's an issue with the fleet manager not recognising the correct ship build. The "10/0" means there are 10 ships of a type which the fleet managers thinks there should be 0. This is especially a problem if you try and "replenish" your fleet....at which point it will try and make 10 all new ships, ignoring the existing 10 in the fleet manager count. This creates significant problems later on when it uses up your fleet capacity and you can't build any more cruisers because you are full up on corvettes.

Had this exact thing happen to me in my latest game. It really messed me around.

This is the main problem in this game. Really annoying. I managed to fix some other ships by splitting and rejoining, but this last fleet with corvettes just wont be fixed.

This is caused by using "auto upgrade". You get a new tech, which causes the design to upgrade. Fleet manager only counts ships in the fleet that are already up to the latest "upgrade" design.

If you try and reinforce before upgrading, it will attempt to just build a full fleet of the new designs.

If I look at the ship details of the ships not recognised they have all the same details as the auto-best design. Sometimes this can be fixed by splitting your fleet and then merging again. But I have these corvettes that just wont be recognised no matter how many times I split and merge them in the fleet.

Yep this is what I found as well, so I just use my own designs and it works fine

Yeah I've even rebuilt all my ship (damn expensive too mind you) I update my design (only have one design per ship class) every time I need to update, then I upgrade my ships... still have this damn ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem! Rebuilding my fleets again! (I'm running out of damn minerals) One design only!!! Reinforce through fleet manager... fine for a bit... log back onto game... same damn ♥♥♥♥.. It's a bug that needs to be fixed.
I even reinforced one fleet first, then updated design. Updated one fleet and reinforce thru manager. Updated anotehr then reinforce by spaceyard/spaceport... all with the same effect

Move the ships not registering out of the fleet, then merge them back. This fixes the issue.

Also, ALWAYS upgrade your ships BEFORE adding more to your fleet. You will encounter this bug if you do not do this.

As above, I have upgraded before doing anything. And splitting then merging does nothing for me. I tried that when I first got this bug.

Like I said, this works most of the time. But then you find that one ship design that just wont work on. Luckily after just upgrading fleet 5+ times and save/load a few times they went from 21/0 to 21/21 and I changed ship design immediately.

Yeah. Always heal completely first. Then upgrade completely first. Then add new ships. And never use auto-best as ship design.
