Fleet routing/travel problems.
I am playing my first game with the disastrous Apocalypse DLC(pun not intended) and I'm encountering various pathing logic failures. My fleets/ships cannot go to an adjacent system through an immediate connection, and instead plot a 10-20 part long route to reach it from some other direction, even if there is a hyperlane between point A and B.

Here are some pictures.

Can't travel to adjacent system. Plots absurd course.

Here we see the AI enemy fleet seen in the destination system moving to the system I was trying to move from.

Won't let me send a fleet to this system. I saw friendly and hostile AI fleets go to and from it.

Another weird path choice.

Is this normal? Is there something I am not seeing here?

There is a enemy hyperlane jammer (dont know the right name at the moment) ... the little magent or u on the right side of the systems name show this.

Higher Starbases AND planets have this... means you can only leave the system in the direction you entered it from.
Its the same with enemy fleets and your "hyperlane jammers"

Just capture the starbase there... if you get it and nothing changes invade the planet with ground forces...

You're at war, huh? And you entered that system through Ribblar, didn't you?

See the little magnet symbol to the right of Megglar? That's an FTL inhibitor installed on the planet in that star system. It makes it where you can only leave that star system the same way you entered it. Until you get an army onto that planet to occupy it, you can only leave the way you came in.

Last photo looks like the same thing: you jumped from Haddnoc to Kastaba and knocked out the starport. But there's a planet in that sector with the FTL inhibitor building keeping you from going any further. You either have to invade the planet and take it over, or simply leave the way you came in.

In my first war on enemy terretory i was also "what the fock is this for a travelling path to the neighbor system" XD
This made me giggle.. Blaming the game and it's developers for a disastrous dlc. His/her own ignorance is the cause of the problem.. \o/

I've seen you in the other threads and you're not doing yourself any favors. You're just confirming that you're taking a "us vs them" stance on this. Pathetic.

I didn't even blame the game for the topic of this thread, I asked if it was normal and if there was something I was missing. The rest of the expansion is indeed disasterous.

You can also bombard the planet until the building with the inhibitor gets destroyed. May take quite some time depending on your fleet size, bombardment policy, planet size, planetary shield and simple luck.
