WARNING Dont destroy the contingency planets with Colossus!
Watch out! i just found a bug where you are stuck with the contingency crisis.
When you do happen to run into that crisis, DONT TAKE OUT THE PLANETS WITH YOUR COLOSSUS!!
Doing that will destroy the planet but not remove the ghost signal send from this location, and it will not progress your event chain.
SO DONT DESTROY THE PLANETS WITH YOUR COLOSSUS!
This happend to my machine empire and it was my first end game crisis that i fought 200year against ... so now i am stuck with an never ending crisis, and my game is basically broken :(

Paradox, if you read this, pls fix this bug (save game compatible)

sincerely Skeldu

PS. sry if my english is wrong in some places, i am german

Cheers for the warning.

Not that I'll ever survive long enough to see it. In my last game, I ended the cycle with about 1300 pops to spawn the Shroud thingy, because the Contingency had eaten the other half of the galaxy. I then watched the Shroud thingy go full ham and start eating the other half, and then it met a Contingency fleet and promptly got evaporated instantly.

Machine Uprising used to be such a joke, they'd get blown to cinders before even leaving their home system. Now...well. If the event happens, may as well call it a day if you're not on 1x Crisis Strength or below lol.

The problem with crisis now is they don't seem to be under the same law as everyone else with fleet power for some reason i don't get how 60 ships equal to 300k fleet power with the same if not less powerful weapons that you have

When its in late game it isnt that hard
My taktik to destroy the enemy fleets was to build 3 fleet with about 25 ships each (all battleships) that each equal 100k fleet strengh

Them having 30 ships equal to 100-200k is the difficult Part of the crisis
Otherwise it wouldnt be called a crisis ^^

Does anyone remember when the machine worlds had insane regeneration making them nearly impossible to destroy except with the most devestating bombardment stances?

Them machine planets be cursed...

Yo guys, guess what, this is still a thing. Be warned! Tonight, in a multiplayer game, I deluged one of their sterilization hubs. Funny then turned to frustration when we discovered it didn't count. Then, thinking I could fix the problem, I used the world cracker to really totally devastate it. The planet can't be any more dead, but the game doesn't register it as gone. Heed the OPs warning! Time for me to head to the Paradox bug forums and dig it up again.

Actually it is not. When I did destroy those world with colossus in my last play through few months ago, it worked all fine.

Necromancy though.....
