"Planet Occupied by Deformed Creature"

so i just make another game for the newer version . and i have been around 8 hours total for this current one , but somehow there is something that make me realy confused here , that i got a thing like i can terraform a planet that i just surveyed ( *cough for free ) so i accepted it , but sadly my science leader failed to do it and instead creating something that i read "Horror" or some deformed creature ,
Thing is that i dont have enough defending army ( just 1 actualy ) so i failed , and they occupy that planet now and begin to purge my planet that i just colonized ;-;) . and after 2 month preparing to retake what i own before i bring a fleet around 3k strong and a army with 300 power , but somehow i cant do anything there , the army wont land ( it say need to occupy first , but i have my poeple down there ) and my fleet just orbiting and not doing anything .

btw i am a pacifist so a no limit bombardment is disabled (prefer peacufull one xD ) . And again i need help here

did i do something wrong? or is it the game mechanic? or something else?

Hmm, all you need to do is land troops there, at least pre 2.0.
Perhaps it is bugged?

yes i did i bring around 10 assault army and my best general too. I have 4 pop that still in there , but somehow it was flagged that i did not occupied or colonized the planet , i dont even have the planet it says and i been stuck like this for around 9 hours now -3- ,

I have this very same issue. There are still pops on the planet, even at the Reassembled Ship Shelter (main colony structure). Armies can not land because "Planet must be colonized before armies can land".

Just experienced the same bug. Army in orbit can't land, so I get to sit here and watch my planet slowly die.

Wonder if they fixed negative planet modifier after you terraform it?

I have this same bug, cannot bombard, cannot land armies, says "need to be colonized first" - but the planet is still owned by me, just occupied, so i cannot recolonize either. I even tried a workaround, if i could give the planet as a gift to AI player and then retake it in a war, but cannot even do that while it is occupied!

Would report a bug but it looks like you must register an account at Paradox to do it, too much a hassle.

oh wow i though it was just me xD i just put that 10 hours save for now , it's ironman mode too .. rather that making it more bad i just created a new game .. again -3-)

I have the same bug. I tried disbanning my space station but it says I cannot with a colonized planet but then I can't land armies. I'm also on ironman so I'm just living with it for now.

well i am continuing the bugged ironman save , i just put it to a sector ... for now ;-;
