Can you purge robots?
Title. I have some robot species from a neighboring empires and I'd rather not have 5 different robot species with 7 pops each, so I want them out.

Is there a way to make this so? All I can do is put them in servitude.

If you go to the population tab of the planet(s) the robots are on there should be a field named 'declining' on the right side. As long as there are no other automatic purges going on you should be able to click it and select the robot species you want to get rid of. They will be set as 'declining' with 1 pop vanishing every 20(?) months. Therefore you should distribute them over as many planets as possible to make the process take as little time as possible.

Ive heard 2 answer to this question before. 1 Generally no since there is no way other then banned robots entirely to cause disassembly. 2 It is possible if you can force population decline to choose a robot as the declining pop.

You should be able to set a policy about robots and that will get rid of them, same as purging the bio pops

Damn, I moved them all to my purge world along with all the other refuse.

As an end note, I want to thank Paradox interactive for making a game where entire worlds solely dedicated to genocide, slavery, and other heinous crimes against sentient life are not only possible, but a viable social and economic strategy. But then again that's basically just colonialism on a larger scale.
