If your game game not starting
It seems that the Paradox again made a similar bug as when starting Imperator.

First of all you have to check local files and check out if u d3dcompiler_47.dll. If u dont have it then you have to find it 1) from another paradox game (EU4,CK2,HOI4 or Imperator) 2) If you dont have any of this games then rollback your game to 2.2.7, copy your d3dcompiler_47.dll from main directory, update your game and paste it back to main directory

Hafe fun after all of this actions

where do i find it under win 7 ?
Are you sure that d3dcompiler_47.dll has something to do with the problem you are having with the game?

I ask, because I saw this thread as I was installing the patch. I raced to my Stellaris folder, and got there just as the patch was finishing - just in time to see the d3dcompiler_47.dll file disappear as it was removed.

However, Stellaris started just fine for me, without it. I am in a game right now, Wolfe v2.3.0 (e100), and I don't have a d3dcompiler_47.dll file in my Stellaris folder.

I can say only that with out d3dcompiler_47.dll game not started and i got error message about missing d3dcompiler_47.dll. When Imperator starts me and pretty big amount of people have same problem and now after Stellarus updated i got the same problem and same fix for it. And yes i do have updated NET.Ftamework 4.8 and DirectX before all of this

the .net Framework update worked for me if you are having problems and on a 64 bit operating system (32-bit wont work anymore) try this it worked for me.

Go here and download it should only take a couple of mins to download.
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net48
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 is working just fine for me.

I was able to run stellaris no issue on my end.
No need to mess around with any files. As others stated, simply update your NET Framework if you encounter this issue. :)
