Were you running any of the combat edicts that use rare resources for a boost to shields/lasers/whatever?
Did you just move out of friendly territory and you have the Harmony Tradition that gives +Fire Rate in friendly territory? Do you have the Defense in Depth War Doctrine (policy) active?
Are you using any mods?
Seriously, if you want an intelligent answer, you'll need to provide more information than that.
weariness"? look like some crysis (every fleet was nerfed)
1) i had all the resources(to maintain the fleet) - not economical crysis
2) no hyper drives -i think - (first game years) - corvettes with simple weapons and drives only - not hyper drive debuff
3) this debuff had appeared soon after i attacked enemy transpots fleet
after it enemy warfleet appears but debuf was still remaining!!!(?Forced Disparity?)
4)i jumped to my home system to save the fleet, but debuff had been remaining untill my friend attacked my enemy and my war was ended.
5) i saw debuff effects in ships bonuses window(cost, green and red numbers) - that was too big - like -80 percent weapons, -70 percent shields et cetera (and power decreased from ~1500 to ~600 !!!)( war weariness ~50% was at this moment)
Everyone has hyperdrives, that is the basic drive system while Jump Drives are late game.
How about you list your mods? Because this doesn't sound like vanilla, shield debuffs do exist but it is either 20% from an enemy starbase with the right module or completely disabled by pulsars. I think Titans can carry a debuff module but you said it was early game.
no mods installed, only cosmetic DLCs, debuff appeared before jumping to home system... (debuf itself was the main reason to retreat from battle). System entered in regular way - through the coridors...
