OMG Everything is gone!!! lol i love it. Its all ash all my fleets are gone the whole galaxy is free space again with red fleets everywhere probably my former fleets and there is lots of them. lol This is awesome. Anyway the hint of the day is ...."DON"T MAKE A BARGAIN WITH THE SHROUD"

the shroud is fine, it's the end of the cycle you have to worry about. that should also only spawn one "ship" so maybe this is a crisis?

Yeh it was the end of the cycle its all gone. The whole map it wiped clean with just the odd previous vassal still standing they have all broken their treaties with me and i dont even have a ship. and only 12 pops.

The thing i hate the most is the death of everyone gave me a new leader and he dose not have the GOD traits that i got from one of the mods.

there are five entities in the shroud that you can make a pact with, they all have different bonus' and different costs. the end of the cycle is arguably the strongest one but after fifty years you lose everything and the end spawns above your capital while all your other worlds spawn a shroud entity. the end's strength is determined by how many people your empire had. basically they're all consumed and add their psionic strength to the end. the end of the cycle is the only one that basically ends the game.

It was a bit of a shock but it is good to see how many twist this game has. I think its time to start a new game and one with no deal just leave when it asks...lol

well, he got subsumed into the end along with the rest of your leaders and majority of your population. like i said, the end of the cycle is the only game "ending" one but you have that time limit because it's so strong. it pretty much doubles your empire's production and fleet so you're supposed to use those 50 years to win before you have to pay the price.

It's actually kinda funny. Once the shock cleared i sat in front of my screen and laughed tears. I have read some on reddit about it and agree that this end of everything could be as harsh but at least give you warnings and events that lead to the end with the ability to save yourself to your own man made haven somewhere and then give you the chance to retake everything. Just wham its all gone and no way really of being able to fight a shroud with over a mil strength is just no fun....lol

Make it a bit more playable and interactive. The end of everything is just a new beginning but they dont really give you those options.

It is still playable, but you have to prepare for it.

Make ringworlds and other megastructures. Plus if you begin as Life-seeded and don't pick any +% to habitability your new world will be on a gaia world. There probably aren't any free ones left in the galaxy, except for that one you specificly didn't colonize and has a megastructure in the system and is surrounded by other mega structures and empty ringworlds.
