What's this GameSpark folder that was added with the update?
It's in the appdocs. Just wondering.

Still haven't figure what it is.

Sounds like it is related to some Software Development Kit. Is Stellaris (ITS NOT MISSPELLED STEAM. I AM LOOKING RIGHT AT THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NAME OF THE GAME) based on the Unity Engine.

Edit: Was so pissed at Steam telling me I misspelled something I didn't finish my sentence)

Stellaris is not based on Unity. It is based on Clausewitz aka Paradox's own engine.

Must be something new with the update. I deleted the folder and booted up the launcher. The folder gets recreated. That's why I assume it's this game. I don't have any mods installed FYI.

End Times.

Click the folder, run the .exe, and the simulation ends.

maybe they are actually listening to the community and changing engines, would be nice.

That would be completely, utterly ridiculous.

Imagine how many changes they would have to make to, not just Stellaris, but the entirety of the Paradox Grand Strategy titles? The amount of mods that would have to be taken down?

A change as major as a complete engine swap would be much better suited to a completely new game.

Any part of the community that wants that almost certainly doesn't know what they're talking about.
