Can't build Megastructures.

So..the problem is that i can't really build anything in the Megastructure tab. It always says something like: you can't build multiple at one time. But i am making exactly zero atm.

Is there something i don't get? OR is there mod conflicts? (i tried disabling all mods that remove such limits one by one - didn't do jack sh*t).

Help. Anyone?

hmm since you said you deactivated mods that change the megastructures build-limit, is the actual game a new one or did you start it with such mods active?
In the latter case I guess that might still play a bit havoc with your savegame.

Started it clean - nope, didn't help either.

Are you building a Habitat or a Gateway? IIRC, there's still a bug where Gateways and Habitats count as Megastructures for the purposes of building the "proper" Megastructures, even though you can build multiple gateways/habitats simultaneously.

did it too. IDK what to do else. I don't have mods that can alter megastruc. limit - i have only gigastructures 2.3 mod

Habitat. And i don't have tech to repair gateways yet

OK. Seems like it does requires some other tech to build \used research all to get\

I ran into a similar problem and eventually figured out what problems I was running into. First problem was when I was use the button "build megastructure", you don't get any feedback as to the reason. You try right clicking or left clicking and nothing really happens. When building warp gates in this manner you get a red circle forcing you to build it outside the system which worked, but everything else I found confusing. Second problem was "time".

Basically what you do is go into the system view, select your constructor, then right click to build your megastructure. For me the gotcha was it would say you can't build because of a station. Okay so I deleted my stations -- you need to delete mining stations, not your outpost.

But even still it didn't work. You have to unpause the game and advance time before it'll realize they are really gone, then it works!
