how to locate the relics of the base game? and of the dlcs?
From what i understand there are relics available for the base game and dlcs even without Ancient relics

so how do i find them?

They seem to be completely random when and where they pop up. Just have to wait.

One more thing though, when you do get the final location of the relic, i think its a new star system that just appear connected to one of your planets that wasnt there before. Last game I played I didnt notice it and I had another empire sneak in and colonize it when I wast paying attention. I just had a war with them, so they got a free border pass, and the new system was barely noticable because my empire territory already mostly covered it so I couldnt tell it wasnt surveyed, until a bit later I suddenly has a tiny blue bubble appear in the middle of my space and i was like... what the.... And then of course I declared war to take that shiz. But i didnt get the reward for discovering it so that was lame...

Yep, happened to me as well. First one to the system gets the relic
