How to send science ship to another system?

Am I missing something? I have no idea on how to make my ship do the jump! Please help I have dived head first into this world!

i think you can right click on the arrows on the edge of the system with the names of neighbouring system. (while having the ship selected ofc)

but the way i always do it is i press E/galaxy map and then right click on the sytem i want to go to.

i always just go to the galaxy map and send it to the next system. if the system has a name you can see the science ship should be able to just move there, otherwise you have to have the science ship either explore(move to unknown system) or survey(map everything in the system).

When ever i right click the arrows they just come up underneath the unknown sign Class M gas giant and Class G star they don't let me send the ships. With the map with a ship selected whenever i hover over a system big X's cover the hexagon?

you need a sciencemen on your ship to explore sunsystems!

does your science ship have a scientist assigned to it?
