What is the Infinity Machine?

The curators in my game talk about an Infinity Machine, but I have explored all the galaxy and there is nothing like that anywhere...

If you have leviathans then an "Infinity Machine" can spawn by a black hole, it is a neutral entity by default and will stay there unless something happens to it.

Shows on map as a fleet with a skull for fleet power.

It always spawns in a blackhole system called Gargantua.

So the enigmatic cache is a different thing right?

Is there some type of mission or event if I attack them, do I have to do something with them?
