I colonized a planet that had good resources, but also had the titan giants. I used them as food so they attacked and took control of the planet. seems I can't bombard them because its still my planet?
Anyone who has been in the same sitation, how many armies or what types of armies could be used to take it back? At the moment my assult armies get destroyed in a minute.

about 15 normal armies should do it. Had it happen to me too. Luckily I had another planet with them and I got the good event. They are great soldiers. The best in the game actually.

You cant bombard your own planets. Event troops dont use fortification

I also ran into this "issue". Why one is hesitant to attack them is because you can't bombard, so you think you need a massive army but the fortifcation bonus is not applied to the titans.

I believe it's a design oversight to not make it clear that the fortifications doesn't apply, quite the opposite it states that the fortifications make them pretty much invulnerable (but again, doesn't apply).
