My Human Species build with Biography and its story.
First some setup for my Human species before the story and Biography or both together comes.(warning it could go a bit op)
The 3 Ethics are Authoritarian,Militarist and Xenophobic and the Civics are Meritocracy and Shadow Council and the Goverment is an Electorate Oligarchie with the Ruler being electet every 20 years with its title being an Archon.(Advisor Authoritarian)
The Terrans Traits are Charismatic,Strong,Resilient whilst nonadaptive.(-10%Habitability)
World Preference is Gaiaworlds or Tropical wet.
Homeworld Terra and their starname Terrasol (Setup is Random Trinary version 1)
Ships and City desing are all Humanoid.

Their naming lists setup is in Ship prefix TTS(The Terrans Ship) and Humans (UNE) version.
Also the species is Human as Terrans being under a Terran Union (I know there is a Greater Terran Union version out there from the Templin Institute but my variant is quite different in settings.)

The Flag in given Vanilla design would be Primary Yellow Secondary Blue(Maybe Ultramarine blue?) and its Form is 2 blue stripes splitting outward at the bottom with an Twinhead Eagle.

And now finaly comes the Story/Biography, i think i storytell that Biography of the Terran Union like an archivist in an Education school how the Terran Union came to be.(Thus maybe capturing you aswell and yeah its my first try to ever tell a biographic story.)(Critics and correction are welcome.)

The Terran Union and its History is not an easy story to tell, however there is much to tell about its Origin aswell as their ancient History that has led to its existence.
Long ago the Terrans primitive, fairly simple and relative naive.
In light of the chain events known as the Great filters that passed the Terran has led to its supercharged sense of survival that allowed the Terrans to be groomed, Strong and Resilient, also in these dire times was it required to make one another an impression be it from Individual to Individual or to the Group as a whole, which was as to why they grew so Charismatic.

And here it was at the end of the Filters where the Mayority of the primitive Terrans came to be a witness to the First War in the Heavens directly above their Homeworld seeing numerous exploding stars or so they thought.
In Reality these were Ancient ships waging war by coincidence above their Homeworld where the Terrans were still in their Stoneage.
The Event is is foreboding for many events to come, and the Terrans asked their Elders and Shamans at their time for their Wisdom which none could give them an answer but they performed an important ritual to not forget the Event that the Terrans saw in Cavepaintings, Generational storytelling even to the point of Stonecarving for the first time.
(Talk about kicking of a Developement.)

It was then many generations later that a so called prophet touched down in the small Aridic desert at the Ecuator where many Terrans witnessed it and made contact with an outside Alien species that presented themselves as Prophets of their God.
These Prophets spoke translated to the Terrans about the importance of Peace and Feasts which many naive ones agreed to though some doubted the Alien Xenos.
(I need a break now and continue this story at a Later time its mind exhausting and yes i will edit the story. And yes its more of a prologue as of yet. I dunno if i can complete it do to details and don't worry i have a general Frame of story.)

If you are talking about oral tradition, you're a bit too dry lol.

Oral traditions are best set out as stories or songs or poems, not "historical" textbooks. This is where Master of Orion 3 fail, they could not settle on if they were telling the story as a fable, history book or a "God's eye view", so the story ended up as a mess.
