Mod to make the planets move?
As the title says, it looks rather stupid they don't move.

Do you mean orbit the sun?

If so theres no mod for that currently it would be to great a change for the current gameplay system

singleplayer maybe but playing it over the net with a friend on a decent sized map and your gonna crash the game 100% bout mid game

In the meantime you could try circling your camera view slowly to simulate movement.

This would be a problem with military stations.

As a fan of Ian Banks culture novels i was wondering if something into that direction meanwhile had become possible? System ships that carry people, which live and work on the system ship or lets go with the Terravor image where one huge planet eating system ship moves from system to system increasing effectivness and speed of the consumption of planets. What do devs/modders say, possible?

If you were a true psycion you would be able to make the planet move just with telekinesis.

Clearly your psycions haven't been doing their job as the planet isn't moving.

After all... it is the gods that make the planet spin, the sun shine, and Nile flow.

shadow raiders style, give us the ability build a planet sized repulser so we can crash them into each other, or to deny the beast planet its meal :p.

Planets always move. This is why it's called "planet". Also see "plankton" :)
