How do I prevent AI rebellion w/o granting AI citizenship?
From what I searched online, people claim you can greatly avoid AI rebellion if you give AI citizenship/rights. But what about those who don't have that option?

Specifically my last game as a fanatic militaristic+spiritualist. Allowing AI citizen rights is straight up not allowed(outlaw/servitude only). Is there some choice or thing I can do to have a "friendly ending" or is the rebellion straight up unavailable for those who can't give them citizen rights?

Thanks.

Afaik you can't prevent it. It's the difference between being recognized as a sentient being with rights and being considered a more expensive multi-tool or toaster.

As the entire AI rebellion is pretty much a mechanic around sentient and self-aware robots deciding that they've had enough of being considered property or tools, nothing less than granting them citizens rights will get them to back off.

Or at least that was my recollection - I tend to only build synths if I plan to emancipate them to prevent precisely this scenario so it has been hundreds of hours of playtime since I last had this event. ^^

So there's no negotiating with AI if the citizen rights option is unavailable? Welp if they want war they'll get war when the warning signs fires up.

Would YOU be happy if you were forced to be slave with no rights what so ever?

I don't see how your question is relevant to this discussion when I'm asking for ways to mitigate/avoid the trouble. Not some moral discussion.

The reason I made that post is because there shouldn't be a way to prevent it. I'm not arguing or anything so please don't pay it much mind.

Its not prevent it from happening at all. I know from post researched online that those who allow AI citizen has litterally only 5% chance for AI to still trigger the rebellion.

Unfortunately spiritualist empires has no such option. I asked if there's some choice or stuff I could do where I could get a similar dialog and end up with a peaceful solution instead of a near guarenteed rebellion as a spiritualist empire.

I don't use any synthetics/robots when I'm playing a spiritualist empire, and also don't use the sapient AI combat software on ships. But I guess the game has to give you a rebellion despite the lack of any AI/robot pops.
