Tributaries Not Happening
I win the war, but they don't become tributary like I demanded.. it worked before the patch.. it was also in a multi player gaming making the a.i. bend the knee.. as a inwards perfectionalist.

this is happening to me too as a servitor

Playing as Assimilator, got into a Defensive War, not in a situation where I can accept more planets, so I demand tribute on them and their vassal. Win the war with those war goals accepted, nothing happened.

This is happening to me too. Was playing as Pacifist.

Same to me. I'm playing with a pacifist using inward perfecttion.
I think it could be because pascifist isn't supposed to have it as an option maybe.

Actualy, as a pacifist using inward perfecttion you can't have vassals, tho you can have tributaries in theory.

You can get the 1.8.1 beta version where most of the known bugs are fixed

Indeed, you can have tributaries.

Before the latest update pascifists weren't allowed to have tributary/vassal war demands.. and I think the tributary war demand inwards pascifists gets isn't actually supposed to be there.

Indeed, i think the only to solve this right now is using the 1.8.1 version

Except this bug, which is still present.

Wrong, it isn't. I found the same issue like 4 days ago, fought a war and didn't get my tributary. Researched the issue online, found that the hotfix is in 1.8.1, opted-in (my ironman game was compatible), refought the war and got my tributary.

Ah, well, my game is broken then D=

*shrugs* Maybe you've got a mod active? I'm playing unmodded ironman, so the tributaries certainly aren't working for me because my game is altered - vanilla code all the way through.

Other than that I can't help you, sorry.

Might be that the fix hasn't affected all the government and civic types. My targets have been a federation of honour-bound warriors, maybe your target was something weird that wasn't fixed yet. ^^

Was playing basic machine empire (no special civics), and I'm pretty sure in my earlier unmodded game it didn't work either, but I have a bad memory, so forgive the incorrect info.

Also: don't do mods kids, they ruin everything.

Yeah, no idea what it is that makes the 1.8.1 patch not work for you then. Only idea I had was that one or more of the weird new empire types might have been overlooked when they hotfixed.
