[Possible bug] Ruined science nexus can't be refurbished?

Hi guys,

I've found a ruined science nexus a mere 3 systems over from my capital right off the bat in my first new session for the DLC.
Needless to say, I was happy and immediately planned to repair it asap.
Fast forward to 2339 when I had both the technology and minerals required to repair the science nexus - but what is this?

The nexus has two green ticks next to the resource requirement and "has mega engineering" but sports a big fat red cross next to "cannot build more than one science nexus".

This is a bit of a problem since I A) don't have the technology to build science nexii from scratch yet and B) am pretty sure I don't own a science nexus. I don't produce research to have one for that matter.

Before anybody asks: I played with mods at some point in the past, but currently have none enabled (for obvious reasons :P).

Can anybody confirm if they found/refurbished one?

I have the same problem, and while I do have mods, none of them deal with this stuff. also I cant build a new one for the same reason, I think its a big bug...

Have a similar problem, only in my game is the Ruined Sentry Array where I can not repair it. Must be really a bug with the new "You can only have ONE."-System.

Yeah, they said in the forum that it's a bug with the counting system - even a ruined science nexus counts as having one, so you can't refurbish it because you already have one. >_<

On the up side: the Cybrex ring world CAN be repaired. I found that in my first multiplayer playthrough. ^^
