The difference will be that your cyborgs aren't affected by happiness modifiers and don't form factions, so if that is important to you then you'll need a mod. If you can live without those things (personally I think not having factions is a feature, not a drawback) then Driven Assimilator might be worth a try.
1) People will hate me because "I want to assimilate all organics"
and
2) Yeah, I do want them to have their own opinions and everything. But this is semi what i was looking for. Thanks.

It will make you start with your race being robots, but it allows organics to live on your planets and function like normal organic pops. You do not start with your own organic pops however.
Of course it is a pre-synthetic-dawn mod so I am not sure what would happen if you try to rn it while playing a robot empire. And I have not tried if it still works too. But it was fun to play with before that and I always made multi-species empires where every race was welcomed and my robots just made sure of war and running things where needed.
Yeah the mod, if you read the description of which, is being removed from the workshop soon...
