i tried making shielded worlds, got nothing.
i tried triggering the mothballed fleet event directly, nothing happened.
EDIT: scratch that, i forgot to selct my science ship, 'event galactic_features.301' will give u the mothball fleet.
...now if only i could find how to change their class from beta & gamma to supremecy and glory.
u are the only reference to the FE 'glitch cube' (<-im naming a titan that) i can find anywhere. surely someone that plays with and understnads this stuff has to have noticed this?
that was a lot simpler than i expected, i can not only change the classes that event spawns, but increase the number of battlecruisers and escorts...
and add titans, that spawn properly too.... i could add 100 titans... /giggles like a school girl
right, u probably want to know how;
u need to edit the file; steam>steamapps>common>Stellaris>events>galactic_features_events.txt.
copy and paste it to ur desktop or something first, standard back up proceedure, etc etc.
use ctrl+F and search 'mothball'.
to change class, just rename the design, for example, replace NAME_Gamma with NAME_Glory.
to change spawn numbers, just replace the count = x to however many u want.
to add titans, find the second line ending "fallen_empire_01", press enter and copy and paste this;
}
}
while = {
count = 5
create_ship = {
name = random
design = "NAME_Imperium"
graphical_culture = "fallen_empire_01"
EDIT: ok steam doesn't appear to like the empty spaces in that ^, so it may be better to copy and paste it from ur own file, u should recognise it, minus that specific name and number.
naturally, count and name can be changed again. i think 'NAME_Alpha' = the titan that matches the default battlecruiser and escort design.
i hope iv made that as clear as i think i have...
nah, add_ship works on everything except fallen empire ships. for example, try 'add_ship Grand Dragon' or 'Spectral Wraith 520THz' if u feel like haveing galactic pets.
