Possible to turn others into Synths?

Hey Guys

I just changed my Race into Synths. But ive a Question about that

Is it possible to turn other Friendly Species or Vasals into Synths?

And is it possible that the AI also changes into Synths through Traditions?

Edit: Another Question: What happens now with the AI-Rebellion Crisis? Is it still possible or am i now the "AI-Rebellion"?

I think the other civs can go down any of the Ascension paths. So, I think so. It's probably only materialists that will do it though. Just guessing.

I think you can still have an AI rebellion in your empire. You need to make sure you have full ai rights.

Also, as far as for myself, I'm taking a hard xeno line when I go synth. I don't want to be cylons, but I at least need to control migrations and population. I might just let the civs I conquer die out if possible, rather than purge. Synthesize are so much more efficient for tiles.

You can turn them into cyborgs and when I went full synth I think any full citizens also flipped . sorry I cant be sure but many of my other pops just vanished and I had a larger slice of the demographic pie. I have also doged the bullet with the rebelion by enableing AI rights as soon as i can; it at least lowers the chances if not stop it dead.

After you convert your POPs to synths and later absorb others species into your empire can you later convert those new aliens to synths?

@bigmeanbunny It's likely that whatever species you had as citizens got renamed when yolu converted your citizens into robots and had the option to name them

Unfortunatly while you can freely turn people into cyborgs you cant turn everyone into synths, once that project is done you either have to accept all other Biological pops as what they are (Plus what you modify them to be) Or purge them.
