Framerate fixed?
I think about buying this game. I read that there are problems with the framerate when the game was released. Especially in mid- and endgame. Are these problems fixed? What framerate can i expect with this rig: i7 6770, gtx1070, 16gb

thx for answer

Framerates will be fine - The actual calculation of the game will slow down tremendously as the game goes on. That'll never change.

As more things need to be calculated, your gamespeed will probably drop from being able to fast forward a week every second to a day.

Some of us are struggling with frame rate, stuttering and lagging right at the start of a new game and most of us have decent PC's with good graphics cards.

Its a known problem, but there does not seem to be a fix as yet.

Is it a recognized issue, or just more rambling on these forums though? Because the threads I've seen have had zero interest in trying to fix their issues themselves with driver updates, simple tweaks and basic troubleshooting...

The only lag I get is playing on speeds above normal, and at the start of the month when everything happens. Otherwise the game runs fine.

You'll always notice slowdowns on Speed 5 - Its purpose is to remove all restrictions from the game engine and use as much of your hardware as it can.
Which speed u play the game mostly? Normal or higher? Can somebody tell how much fps u get? Constant 60fps while on normal speed or lower...

Again it's not about FPS, but how fast the game simulation runs. You can have a perfectly fluid 60fps in the lategame, and the ingame days will go by at a snails pace.
I think I understand... so when u skip time it is lagging because of calculation things... What if u don't skip time? Or did u need to skip often...

Depends. If there's not much to do, you generally want time to pass faster, but at some point you can't really go past 'fast' speed, because 'very fast' goes at exactly same pace...

Did not play long enough to see if end-game lag was fixed (game pausing every now and then for a few seconds, as if to save), so can't comment on the state of that.
