They're stronger by far than the repaired dreadnought, pretty fast and as most of their tankiness comes from their humunguous shields, they need no repair pause - they either survive without a scratch or die, usually.
Edith: Gotta agree: the shroud has some of the best potential rewards if you draw lucky, but given that it also gives you a once in a lifetime opportunity to get invaded by rampaging avatars (53 k fleet power of delicious rage and homicidal wrath!), it's not really OP.
Add to that the cooldown and you're much more likely to get "meh" than "ABSOLUTE COSMIC POWER".
Also: I tried stealing secrets from the Fallen but all they do is hide behind planetary shields - GIVE ME YOUR BUILDING PLANS ALREADY.

Basicaly it looks like anomalies on steroids. Higher rewards, but also way higher risks if you fail.
That thing is a monster, you should use it to spear head your planetary invasion, wins everytime.
Corrupted avatars arent bad. They disapear in a year. And dont move
