Server ID not there
I'm trying to play with a friend and he's hosting (I'm leeching the DLC) and after 1.5 hit I haven't been able to see the server ID of any server, it wasn't a problem when we started a new game since he just pasted it to me but now it puts him straight into the game and since the ID is different there's no way for me to connect. Is this a problem with me or MP? Are there any fixes?

Yeah you can, we already have a utopia save file, I just can't see any server IDs
And if you load a game instead of starting a new one, there is no where to find a server id.. so we can play together when we start, but not when we load because this game is weird and demands a server id.

Of course you can... been a core feature of Paradox games for years.

Ah so you can, the people I tried to play with were being idiots then and told me they couldn't join because they didn't have the right content.

Password games are broken :steamsalty:. that's the reason apperently. Ciao <3 xxx :worker:
Don't be a fool or I'll tackle you, mate. You've been warned. I'm a security guard... :divekick:

The host can hover over the top right where it says what date it is (and if it's paused under it), it will tell you the ID of the current game

You can also send and recieve invites through steam.

Oh thanks Wriers, we got it sorted now. However now I can't pick my faction lmao. I joined as an observer and even another faction to double and triple check the name but it just isn't there when I try to pick it :/
Now we have a new problem.. this game...

The player joining the host can't find his previous civ when choosing civs :/

Any thoughts?

Same here, I am the host, the player that cannot find his civ again can join, but does not find his civ. He designed it with DLC properties but does not have the DLC. Could this be the reason?

How long did you play? Did he go down one of the ascencion paths? My race is gone from our multiplayer game as well, and i do have the DLC. I suspect heavily, that it is cause i turned my race into synths, and now the multiplayer select screen doesn't recognize them as playable race anymore... totally sucks.

Works when you use the 1.5.1 beta Version in Steam
Hexatron Apr 10, 2017 @ 7:04pm
Nope we are using that 1,5,1 beta one, and it does not work. As soon as someone is turned into a synth, their race disappears from the race select screen. We were able to trick around this so far, by having the one who is the synth race host.. but means all others cannot do it.
