Quick question about custom ruler titles

If I make my custom ruler title, say, High King, and obviously my starting ruler is a male. What happens if my heir is female? Would seem kinda awkward for a female High KING instead of a High QUEEN.

Will I be presented an option to create a new custom title once a female ascends to the thrown?

I believe it depends on what female custom name you give, to see the female version just switch the sex of the starting ruler in the empire customization screen and you'll see it.

Oh I see, it does save the ruler titles when you change genders. It's kinda flaky because it also resets my ruler's appearance, so I figured it was resetting everything else, as well, but it keeps the ruler titles.
