So, has anyone else had an issue where you can't zoom out on the galaxy map?(Fixed!/Not Controller related!)

For some weird reason I can no longer do this. And it's a bit annoying, to be honest. I only noticed it somewhat recently.
Is there any way to change the bindings for it? Because either this game isn't registering my mousewheel now, or my mouse is drunk or something.

Sorry for everyone saying it's the Controller, the controller being removed does not change this at all.

Still can't zoom out.

Okay, I fixed it! Apparently my mouse was acting up.

You got a controler pluged in? If so unplug it

I've had a controller plugged in for years, and it's never affected Stellaris before. That is so weird.
Why would that only happen now?

It's a relatively common issue in the sense that everyone recently who has been incapable of zoom has had a controller plugged in.

The fix is remove the controller.

The why? I'd guess that it might be assigning the zoom key binding to the controller, if only because that's all I can think of that makes any sense.

That is so weird though. Especially since it happened while playing the game, and just stopped working halfway through.

I'll remove the controller though when I play this game.
Such a weird bug to just spontaniously trigger without ever being an issue before.

So, the controller being removed has no effect at all on this bug.
I really want to nkow what the hell is the cause of this bug.

Can a mod somehow cause it? Because I can't fathom what is causing the zooming feature to refuse to work.
And why would it happen suddenly, while playing the game, just, suddenly refuse to let the mouse scroll wheel work?

Do other commands work or is it just zoom?

If it's just zoom it's probably something to do with keybindings. If it's other things, it's probably a mod.

Have you seen if the issue remains without mods?

I'll go try the removing of mods, but yeah, it's just zooming out.

You have tested your mouse wheel to make sure it's not broken right?

It just hit me there that there is a small chance of that and that as that's the most embarassing way for it to happen that means it actually has a high chance of being what happened.

I've used my mousewheel plenty recently.
My mouse is old, but it's not broken yet. :)

It's how I read long posts, by scrolling with the mousewheel.

Never had to, and the internet search I did to check was not helpful in the slightest.

So, I tried without mods. And it's not working either.
so maybe my mouse finally broke the scroll wheel. :(

HEY! I got it to work! I think something on the mouse was jammed or something.
Because now I can zoom in and out.
