Cryopod Warrior Event Bug

Hello,

The "Cracking it Open" event happenned to me, and brought back the container back to my homeworld. If the subsequent "Cryopod Warrior" event triggers, it bugs : I can greet the alien, explain he is the last of his species alive, but then, if I click on "Tell me more about yourself" for the second time (after he has explained he was a general for a 'Queen of the East"), nothing happens, and I can only say farewell to the alien. That's it. The event closes, yet i have a notification that a default option will be chose at a later date for the event (keep in mind there are no clickable options anymore).


Is there anything I can do? The event chain seems pretty cool, I'm annoyed i can't go through with it.
