Do not kill the Infinity Sphere after it buffs you
you lose the research buff when you destroy it :(

The Infinity Sphere is the one of the big space monsters I have never killed and will never kill. It is freindly and gives research points. And since my empires are all heavy research oriented, the sphere is my friend.

And I was able to rebuild it without destroying it so now I have fleet of some corvets, a destroyer ... and a totally overpowered Death Star ;P ... only the research bonus form the system some AI empire snatched from under my nose because I was not fast enough ... but I will get it back eventually!
