But for some general tips, before the wolves enter in each round, try to run to the lower right of the screen so that the wolves will attack Granny instead of you, then attack the wolves from behind (Granny refills between rounds). This should keep you from losing too much health.
And for Woolfe himself, just quickly hit him 2 to 3 times whenever you can and then back away from his counter. His lightning ark attack is very linear and easy to avoid, so when he starts to make it, just jump to his opposite side. In the second round when he summons the black hands, just quickly double jump around the screen and avoid the black spots. In the last round he already should be so low on health that you just have to hit him a few times. Don’t bother with fighting his summoned wolves, just double jump and hit him in the air (this even works on hard).
It's too bad that a game which looks so great and has a lovely soundtrack, art design.. falls short in the final moments.
Wow, really? I just finished the game on hard and the final fight was quite... simple and straightforward. You kill the wolves first, then handle Woolfe, obviously avoiding his attacks.
My personal holdup was Granny - she was dying too quick, so I had to cover her, but that was the only challenge there. :)
Well, I wrote this in 2015 so I cannot say much anymore just that I did manage to finish the game in the end. In addition I work all day so I normally don't have the time to "git gud" as people say. Maybe that's the reason I struggled so much with this last fight.
One day they'll realize they are still playing games in their mom's basement while you're married with kids and with your own house, maybe even making the games they play.
Recall Painkiller's Swamp Creature duel - that's where you get stuck at the first time; then Serious Sam 3 - it won't be obvious how to defeat the enemy for the first time...
Moreover, you're not the only one working plus I played this game just couple of hours more than you, still got it done fairly quick.
Nevermind, it's just a game to enjoy. :)
O.K. - you're good and I am bad. Glad?
