Vigor
Wipe Questions and Concerns.
One being will we lose all of our battle pass items, mainly the cosmetics since It's possible for the battle pass to be over by the time its out of alpha or almost over and would suck to lose out on the cool arctic camos because of that.

two being what would really be the point of wiping pc players progress when we will go against console players with maxed out stuff most the time after they put in crossplay when alpha is over, Why not let us keep the progress because of what I mentioned above, seems idiotic to wipe it.

three will we be able to turn crossplay off, I'm sure console will be able to do so but will we or will we have a COD situation where PC players are unable to do so?

Hi there! Thanks a lot for raising these questions. Allow me to explain why the decision for a wipe was made.
First off, right before the full free-to-play release of the game later this year, all progress will be wiped. The only thing you'll get to keep are the contents of the Reinforcements Pack. We understand that it might seem a bit unfair wiping the blueprints and cosmetics you've purchased during Early Access, but this period serves as a trial for PC players who might've not played Vigor before, to get to know the playstyle, learn how to use the weapons and consumables, and figure out their own way of playing the game.
By wiping all the progress, we ensure that all PC players start off on the same level (in terms of Shelter progression, owning blueprints for weapons and consumables etc.)
In terms of crossplay, there will be an option to turn it off or on for all platforms. Meaning that if you don't want to play against console players, you can play against PC players.
Hope that provides an explanation for your concerns and please feel free to let us know of your thoughts during the whole process

Well I'm happy to hear about the option to turn off cross play, I didn't care much of the blue prints more so about the cosmetic is what I'm more interested in keeping from the battle pass or is it possible to confirm the current battle pass will be active still at the time the wipe happens to give pc players a chance to get the current pass done.

Also another question being about elimination, Last I played on console was around the time the armor plate came out, I remember the loadouts being random for elimination, Why the change to this new pick a loadout for it?

i dont see the need to wipe cosmetics weve played hours to earn during early access? what did we pay for and play all this time and put in all this time to just have to redo it? and you cant say about the unfair play with new players from the free to play version because Xbox and PS5 will not get wipes so those people wil still have full inventorys

this makes me not even wanna play during early access and put all this time in for leveling a battle pass to reset, i understand if u wanna reset inventory items and shelters but why battle pass items?

WE early purchasers for a FREE game should get to keep what we have put hours into for you in "testing" phase, im honestly not even gonna bother playing till the release

I have not been able to extract the last three games due to a supposed network issue when me and a friend of mine live in the same house with the same internet in the same match, and he is connected wireless and I am connected by cable, two raids in a row when I have full inventory, Seems like when the maps changes it causes some issues for people still in an encounter on the older map rotation possibly.

Update, Besides that the game continuously turns of my nvida instant replay when I turn it on.

I hope it's not possible to purchase crowns right now. If people buy crowns and you wipe the cosmetics the buy you're fosho stealing money.

You are not able to while we play in this alpha for 3 months, most likely will be able to pay for crowns after that.

Wiping levels OK.

But why wiping... Cosmetics ? We'll be all in the same train.

Do you guys think Bohemia Interactive gifts you that amount of crows for logging on the first few days?

It is that high, just to „play“ around.

I guarantee, we never ever get that much crowns!

Besides that, the wipe is announced. You should have read it previously.

The question about all the stuff from the previous battle passes has not yet been answered.
The only way to get these stuff, is by opening crates (with a huuuuuge amount of luck) or by buying it in the shop via crowns.

We all wait for a new feature since they announced the end of the historical battle passes where you were able to get blueprints and cosmetics by levelling one old battle pass besides the actual one.
These old battle passes have gone this season on consoles.
So we are awaiting a new feature for the next battle pass, which might be also the full release of Vigor for PC.

Things are complicated 😅

Wiping cosmetics is actually disgraceful, A wipe i get but you show no reward to people who slugged it out in your servers while you built the game? couldnt care less about blueprints but to wipe our items that bear no gameplay advantage is a joke
