You will get them also by improving your antenna - the highest improvement stage gives you a daily amount of roughly 10 crowns (9.96 or so). It needs to get collected at least every second day, because of the maximum limit of 20 crowns you can collect without "harvesting" them.
After Early Access you can also buy them for real money.
My personal advise is to only buy the crowns you need for a battle pass and finish it.
You will be able to buy the next one and have some extra crowns.
Do not use them for insurance, this is a crown grave :)
Also do not boost the lobbies, this is quite to dangerous and you do not know the outcome.
At early access you can spend every single crown, because everything gets whiped right before the full release.
Not so for you DLC you bought. This is the only thing you will still have after the whipe.
So my advise for realease is to save them and not to buy anything until you get enough from the antenna.
This will last a while.
Just spend it for the battle pass.
Won't come in Early Access as it looks like - look at their statement here anywhere.
This was not communicated, so this is quite new for everyone of us.
This mission cannot be completed.
It is the last one of this "tutorial" as I may know it from console.
Let's wait for the full release to complete all the starter challenges.
2. insurance is seriously not needed, a normal player racks up so many guns it's impossible to run out
3. consumables are a bit more important but I did notice that a lot of players bring in a bunch of them just to die without ever using any, if you have a specific plan or challenge use them, otherwise no need to waste them so again, insurance is not really necessary,
but anyway, in 5 days you have 10000 crowns, how is that not enough to insure some good stuff every now and then?
Because I cant play everyday !
For me the amount of XP got that high, that completing the battle pass when you bought it and gaining more XP by its boosters, is not reachable anymore.
It became even more a grinding game where you need to play daily several hours. Not only playing it, you also need to be successful. Playing an encounter and dying after the first minute doesn‘t give you anything at all, which could be useful.
If you wanna finish the battle pass, you need to invest a lot of time and you should clear the whole lobby, getting all POIs as well as the airdrop at the end. Just then, you might finish it in time.
Yeah, you can also buy those double XP tickets for crowns… yeah… that‘s what they want.
I am more losing interest in this game by this kind of mechanics they implement.
Told them more often, that this amount of XPs is ridiculous. Most of us have jobs, families and not time to play all day long.
And I am not the only one, but they might listen only to the school boys and streamers who are playing all day long.
Sad but true.
Try to reach level 25 and buy it then with the option „buy the battle pass and 25 level“.
I would recommend to do this, when you have reached level 25, not before… the amount of XP for level 50 is more then 300.000.
Last season it was something around 319.000 if I am not wrong. This season might be higher…
So grinding, grinding, grinding…
The costs for the battle pass are logically higher when buying 25 levels instantly. Instead of 690, it is 1100 or so (check it ingame if you didn‘t buy it yet).
Keep in mind that I do not mean to buy those levels one by one, this is even moooooore expensive. I mean the option you get, when buying the battle pass.
Reaching level 25 is realistic without battle pass.
Last season I reached level 31/32 without battle pass on console for example. I played when I had time and fun, it was quite a lot, but I wouldn‘t have reached level 50 with the battle pass - even so you are getting permanent XP boosters. This doesn‘t help.
For a regular family dad with other obligations, this is not reachable.
weapon and consumable parts in an encounter do not contribute to experience after the match, same with ammo.
