Hi there! One of the reasons we decided to go with the Early Access model, is because it worked well for us in the past (the initial release on Game Pass on Xbox and the Nintendo Switch release). Another reason, is that we're looking to collect feedback from PC players on the improved gunplay and overall experience before the full free-to-play release :)
We hope to see you one day in the Outlands (be it in Early Access or in the full release later this year)

Have you played this on console? because I have, this game is full of microtransactions and battle passes, but go right ahead and do and think what you want.

So why charge us a fee to give you feedback for what is essentially a f2p game on release?
Best way to gain feedback is to make it f2p from the start so more people play it and report back...
