influx of players

When the game goes f2p, we should expect an influx of players.
The problem is, will the game be able to retain a player base?
In it's current form, it'll probably have a very small, dedicated community.
They really need to get into 1.0 with a bang such as new features and content.

My friends really want to play the game too but they don't see the point in paying for it as it's already free on the console. The move to the PC platform excited me. I've waited so long for this and now I had to pay €20, which I'm happy to pay as I really enjoy the game and am happy to support you, but you can't scare away the relatively few fans and new players, which is a shame and is already having an impact when searching in the lobby. You often meet the same sweaty people and the other two modes are also very nice but unfortunately there is relatively little to be found there. You have so much potential. Start the free to play option so that the game can finally live. Until then, a huge thank you from me for releasing a PC version ♥

not just going free to play they need to demonstrate a working ability to match up with other friends and play as thats a core feature to the game.

hopefully soon and then soon after leaving EA.

they 100 percent should not leave EA without rolling out matching with friends, as any hiccup with that post 1.0 will cause review bombing and leave a big distaste with the newly established PC community.

maybe they should consider doing ,. solo / team lobbys
cause when u have 3 or 4 people on a team going into wipe out a lobby you best believe none of the new players are going to stick around

Most teams a duo's Ive only came acros one team of 3 players. :D

Current Steam player count is 49. There is no player base.

wait till its free to play and then count the numbers then, i'm sure numbers will go up once its F2P and we can play with friends.

With 168 down to 74 player now I don't think their cash grab from pc players will bring the money they wanted to get and sustain the future of the game I would imagine they their servers will not last ploughing more money in to it.

It gets old seeing everyone dissing every game release on steam... I'm active in multiple discussion boards and it's like clones of people all preying on downfall of games that sometimes they don't even own.
