Question about difficulty
Just found this and it looks quite interesting.

Was checking reviews and the only negative reviews I saw after scrolling for a while were about the game being either too easy or too hard (and one about gender politics)

While I usually don't care much about a games difficulty I would love to get some input on this. Because the game doesn't seem to really be about a story it'd be a shame if there wasn't atleast some challenge in the gameplay ^^

Well, if you grind too much and your Yaolings get too strong you can breeze through the fights. Just like Pokemon. If you want the game to be tougher, grind less.
But the goal is to get the strongest monsters and destroy everything that stands in your way. =D

- You can also play the game without a healer, so it gets a bit harder.

You can adjust the game difficulty once you get further in. There is a place where you can change the strength of enemies and you can also capture yaolings with better stats and talents too.

Honestly, I'd say patience is one of the highest forms of difficulty in the game. The town you use as a base to do crafting/yaoling breeding/yaoling training/ect has real time elements to it, meaning you have a solid 30 minute window often times of waiting for something to be done, so in that time, you're encouraged to go out and explore and grind. The main way to get a currency you NEED for breeding (my favorite activity in these kinds of games is breeding for better critters) is almost 100% dependent on the real time waiting currency and the annoyance of how my it's used for is my biggest complaint about the game. Or you can just get a team of yaoling you like and stick with them the whole game, relying on rare jades to teach them better talents. Really up to you and how you prefer to play, but no, I would say the game is as hard as you make it.

TLDR: no there isn't much story, but it can easily become waiting around for missions to finish later in the game when you've already done most of the exploration.
