A way to get more Spirit Gems?
I am only really getting spirit gems from keeper battles and demons, and you need these to do just about anything when it comes to make yaolings I have not found any other reliable source of gems, cause keepers dont seem to want rematches. Has anyone found a better way there is no real guides.

Once you have build the tavern you can send out yaolings on commissions. I am drowning in Spirit Gems by now. It is a very reliable source.

It seems if you level the tavern to fast you can get locked out of completing any commissions as the minimum required level seems to also increase when the tavern is upgraded.
I would assume your only drowing until you start trying to breed a up a colossal shiny alt colour alpha yaoling since each eggs is cost 2k+ to hatch.

Yeah, level 3-4 in the tavern seems to be the sweet spot of rewards to Yaoling level since they can come back with massive exp crystals to level other Yaoling with good gaurding talent, so you can constantly improve squads to take up commissions.
My biggest complaint about the game is that stargems are never abundant because too many systems use them and they can only be gained so fast, so I can only assume people 'drowning' in them have only bred a handful of things and weren't picky how they turned out. I'm begging the devs to let the Yaoling trainer Wu'er use gold instead because I have never once used the guy because there are no spare gems for him :steamfacepalm:

Just hit the same spot, and same rut. Not enough spare higher levels for Lv2 or higher tavern, started breeding as I just unlocked it and the training. Only to realize the huge eggs that are being cranked out take like 1-2k to hatch. I guess I'm lucky to be getting mostly huge eggs, but still...

I haven't found a good route yet to farm. In the demo the rat demon was in the area by the southwestern most docks in the starting area, I would just loop respawning at the TP, recharge and go again. Now I'm kinda unclear on how things respawn or open world or instanced demons.

Without any wiki or maps out there, it's tough for me to recall where all of the demons are respawning. So I'm all ears for a zone route in this level. I'm definitely the type that likes to breed before finishing the game, so I can proudly end with my successes and min-max one or two of my favorites. Right now I'm just teleporting around to groups of 1-2 I remember below level 25 I can easily zerg.

So if on your map you hold down right click and move your mouse, it'll bring up a wheel of markers and that's how I remember where demons/good hunting spots/Yaoling I'm after are; it makes farming demons way easier.

Pour all your spare exp crystals into Yaoling with good guarding stats (min 90) when you can, getting a squad of 7 or 8 up to lvl 50 and then you should be able to handle the lvl 4 tavern commissions and they'll even bring you back extra stargems. It's been working for me so far~

There's a breeding guide floating around so you know what each of the egg sizes/descriptors means for sure and if you're confident enough, you can run ahead into areas you're a little underleveled for to grab flora and fauna to upgrade your village facilities faster. Super recommend getting the hunting cabin up fast because it provides A LOT of what you need for the other facilities.

Just a heads up; Since the last update the guarding stat increases with each evolution. And it is possible to sort Yaolings in the training menu by guarding and trading stats now too.

I'm sorry, I am quite slow to understand. When you say "tavern," is the name of the house "tavern?" I only see "Market" for Caravan and "Hunting Team"

You get a quest at the start to rescue different people all over the worldmap. If you bring them back, each of them opens a new shop at the village. One of those is a tavern, where you can hire Yaolings or send Yaolings on missions that have high Spirit Gem rewards.

The better the 'guarding' skill of a yaoling in the 'Crafts' tab of their character sheet is, the higher a bonus on the mission they will get on top of the normal reward.

And as stated above, if you evolve a Yaoling that already has a high basic guarding stat twice the guarding stat will go up significantly.

Can confirm, getting high guarding yaos and spending xp gems to level them up for tavern requirements has made breeding bearable with the income. Also don't neglect the rotating recruitment from the tavern, sometimes high level with high guarding will appear for dirt cheap.

So yeah, Tavern is the way.
