I was looking for a good critter collector game for PC for a long while and this one is it for me. First things first, the art style is lovely and all Yaoling designs are done amazingly well, in particular the various demon evolutions.
Besides that, the various areas you'll be exploring are gorgeous as well. My personal favourite is the entire area, where School of Hunt resides.

Music is another strong side of this game and really sells the atmosphere of the wide variety of locations.
Difficulty being adjustable is helpful and I greatly appreciate that the game starts out on lower difficulty by default. It really gives you the option to either take on bigger challenge and try going for the most optimised team possible or stay on the lower difficulties and get silly with your team. I've personally been trying to acquire all purple team and it's been fun! :D
This game is not demanding. It is the perfect choice for when you need something cozy to help you relax.

Exploration is fun! There are so many hidden corners and valleys, where you can find chests with rewards or new and interesting Yaolings. At no point did things get tedious or boring.

But what I'd say is the biggest positive of this game is the fact that the dev team is clearly passionate about this project and with every update, things only get better and better.

Despite it being an early access game, what is already available will keep you busy for a while, especially if you decide to explore around to collect them all.
