Fixed Legend of Korra game crashing after starting

I am playing on Wins 8.1

The way I fixed this was by going to the game file location in your C: drive. Ex:( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Legend of Korra ) right click on the LoK.exe and click properties. Go to the Compability tab and check the box " run this program in compability mode for", and select which mode you want to select. My compability mode is on Windows Xp service pack 3. Apply and click on.

Open your game and it should work fine.

wth, so in compat mode to win xp sp3 it runs, but on the actual win xp sp 3 it doesnt ? :(

Tried EXACTLY that. Tells me "error c30007b" or something and then closes again.

Is there a chance I can at least get my money back <_< cause even if it's just 15bucks I still can't even open the game and it's pissing me off.

Im running 8.1 and still getting this problem

sorry for the necro but i got the same problem
i already played this game under 8.1 and win10 no problem but now when i try to start the game this problem happens even tho nothing changed
same hardware settings, software is the same since the last time it worked

Can confirm that this works, however, I am still using Windows 8.1 (x64) and the game will crash if you change to any full screen resolution above 1366x768 in display settings. You may need to play it windowed.

fixed mine by deleting my save necroed the ♥♥♥♥ out of this, but if someone is in google and finds this, this is how I fixed mine.

this, thanks, right click Properties korra on steam and disable steam cloud in General, and then delete the Korra Folder in Documents/Korra (Windows) which is probably the reason of this error, using a savefile from an old device. I didn't need to run it on compatibility mode, and it didn't fix the problem before
