Bayonetta 2 wouldn't even exist if nintendo didn't give money towards, so it's exclusive to them.
Again, Nintendo paid for the game's development; they didn't buy a timed exclusive, they paid to have the game made.
Bayo 2 isn't going anywhere whitout Nintendo's ok.
True, but if Nintendo bargained to get a certain % out of the over all multi-platform sales. I think they might, but hey. That is just wishful thinking.
But still Sega could bring no1 to steam, it was on sale only the other day on US psn for $8
Nintendo games are exclusive to Nintendo consoles, and with Wii U sales finally looking up, there's no way they're going to sacrifice any of those sales. If you want to play it, it's finally worth it to buy a Wii u with all the great games on it, especially those coming out right now.
Is it though? From what I recall it's certainly a good game, much in the vein of Devil May Cry just a different universe, different character, etc. However it didn't sell all that well.
For the people that enjoyed Bayonetta 1, it's great news if they own the console, otherwise it's kind of tough luck. I wouldn't call something a franchise with only 1 game so far though.
But the Wii U still has that same messy problem they've been having even years ago with the Wii. Just that 1 mario, zelda, smash bros game is not enough. They really should have been making new IP and they simply haven't. When are new exciting games like Pikmin going to come again? As fun as Mario etc can be and are, it's the same old tired thing.
And PC's are probably doing even way better than any of those, considering PC's have been getting more affordable over the years. Specs wise even gaming pcs of 5 years ago beat a PS4.
PS4 > X1 > WiiU. I really worry for Nintendo, I loved the days of the NES and SNES and then I went Playstation. I even skipped entirely on the PS3 generation and even then aside from Metal Gear Solid and Disgea 3 I feel no loss there. Agarest and Metal Gear Rising come to PC so that was lucky. Aside from the game exclusivity on the consoles, why do people still even console game?
