"Nintendo" mode is pointless
So, I'm used to the Nintendo controller scheme, aka Y is on the left of the button diamond, then X on the top, then A on the right, then B on the bottom. When I saw that you could choose a "Nintendo" layout for your controller, I got excited, because I figured that would mean it would - effectively - change the way the buttons work in the menus (aka, have the button the right be "confirm" and the button on the bottom be "cancel"), while leaving the controls in-game "regular" (aka the button the left attacks, the button on the bottom jumps, etc). but... that's not how it went. it just switches the buttons around. which I could just as well do via Steam's own remapping feature, if I wanted to. Switching to Nintendo layout means that, yes, the right button is confirm and the bottom button is cancel in the menus, but it also mean that now the top button is regular attack, the right button is jump, the bottom button is dodge and the left button is super move. Which just feels awkward, and again, I could just do by changing the button layout via Steam.

Really, all I would want is an option that switches the functionality of the A/B buttons in the menus and leaves everything else as it is.

It's just the mapping of the 4 face buttons being swap with the nintendo prompts but yes, I think it's some visual 'bug'. There is no problem with the Playstation one because they are the same than the Xbox ones.

so
B is written as cancel or back when it should be ok/confirm
A is written as ok/confirm when it should be cancel/back.

It's because on nintendo switch you valid/confirm with the A button (on the right) and the B one is for cancel.

Yes. I'm aware. And that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It should be switched for the menus only. Otherwise - again - I could just swap the buttons via Steam itself, so what's the point?
