Heads up on launch day build/online play issue

We found a last-minute issue that might affect online play, so with an abundance of caution, we're going to launch with the safest build possible -- so you can expect an update via a patch later today.

Offline play and Remote Play Together should not be affected, so give it a whirl, but know there's an update being prepared, too!

Thanks for being up front. It says it's launching in less than an hour, and I am still up very late in Australia, so if I can't find someone to remote play then I'll just play it through once on my own to at least learn all the moves then sleep then look for someone tomorrow night hopefully. I managed to make a couple new steam friends from the other topic here so I might even be lucky and get a remote play (which I have never used before btw, I have no idea it it's as plug and play as online play).

Anyway, congrats on the very close release and I must admit I prefer that you're releasing it without the online so we can at least play the game until the online works properly. Better than postponing the entire game.

As long as you're putting a patch out, how about adding key rebinding while you're at it - I was about to buy this and did an about-face when I saw other players saying it didn't have such a basic function.

I forced my friend to buy the game to play online, and now the game can’t be played online. I really hope the update comes today or tomorrow because it’s not acceptable to get this information an hour before, and now I look like an idiot in front of my friend for having harassed him about the game.

I've already posted elsewhere, as well as a review. But since you're here:

You launched a lie. Instead of asking permission from the community to delay and fix it, playtest it further, you decided that asking forgiveness was easier.

We would have waited. We waited for Shredder's Revenge. I only speak for myself (and feel free to ignore or ridicule me as you see fit), but I'm a longtime Power Rangers fan and I would absolutely have waited for this game to be polished to a mirror shine.

But you didn't. You launched a bland, boring game with missing features and lackluster effort.

I refunded this. You don't get to keep my money.
