You should have your items from previous game.
What fight are you refering to?
Use the heavy hitters varl and their whirlwind attack.
Mogr on the first line is also very much welcome.
Egil is very cool, but nowadays AI seems to ignore him if he is all shield up, so...
Still it's not too hard with such stats - just don't go to corners, instead stay in center, making enemies block each other, so most will skip turns. And get away from those who will act in next 2 turns.

It's a mission where Rook is alone against ~8 dredges, it starts just after tutorial.
I wonder if you can beat that in norm.
You don't really need the item, though, it just makes the process faster. Rook not being at full strength is also pretty much irrelevant, since the way to do this is to dance around the dredge while removing their armor. You don't ever need to take a single hit during the battle.
Just keep track of the next 2-3 Dredge in the turn order and you should never get trapped.
It takes nigh-constant movement and awareness to make it work, but it's doable.
I let Rook charge in due to the loss of Alette, then the cavalry showed up and whiped the rest of the dredge. Rook got a mace to the face but hey, a father that's just lost his only daughter doesn't really think much about his own safety.
