Caravan Morale

Tips at the beginning of Banner Saga 2 say "Normal Caravan Morale does not affect your heroes' willpower in battle. Maintain sufficient supplies and rest in camp to improve morale." And "The Morale of the Caravan affects the Willpower of Heroes during battle." So which is it? It affects morale right? There are two times in the tutorial tool tips that say it doesn't.

Pretty sure it means if your morale is at "Normal Morale", it doesn't affect your willpower. If it's below or above normal morale, it'll decrease or increase your willpower in battle.

It is an odd way to phrase it though.

Normal morale means no bonus or penalty. Positive morale is a willpower bonus. Negative morale is a willpower penalty.

So both are technically correct, but I can see where it would confuse.

Correct - perhaps we should work on that wording a bit.

Maybe something like "has no impact on morale," or as King said "provides no penalty or bonus."
